Surprising fact, about 60% of Nostr events on a relay are read less than 5 times per day, and only by 5% of all clients.
Doesn't really surprise me, when you consider that most people follow the same small handful of people (including you, but not including me) and everyone's feed is just follows. Probably mostly people looking at trending on Primal.
That's why people give up. Can spend weeks or months screaming pointlessly into the void. And that's why our clients won't be follows-based. You get on theforest and post, and the entire Internet will see it, the end.

It recently occurred to me that the source of signal in Nostr aren't metrics, but rather context. See, my mind doesn't evolve linearly over time, I am constantly seeking lots of side quests and get stray in the middle of books. I recently had the opportunity of reading a book and seeing a website where I could answer ALL my doubts at the same time. That made me learn the book faster
What stops nostr from doing something like this to ease the experience and cohesion of users?
