isn't it literally an admission of guilt at that point? I understand that in order to be a politician you have to be at least 1, oftentimes 2, standard deviations below the mean in IQ, but this logic just does not compute... even trying to put myself in his shoes, I just can't think of a reason to do this other than if the files are damaging to him, to someone he cares about or someone who has dirt on him
