But the inverse works if you own a sizable bitcoin bag. One can buy a house and roll your BTC back out of it. By locking in the house price at today’s value, you own that asset and it appreciates while the dollar devalues. All while still holding your bitcoin to build USD value on its inflation response, adoption rate, and scarcity. This has you paying the old cheap price when you finally pay off that bank note.
