Another rough day at the office. Patrolling electrical transmission lines for a bid. All cross country, miles from driveable roads, 3 hours from home. Made it back to the truck and trailer in the tracked side by side with only one bar of fuel left. Fun day! Lots of Moose, Deer, Coyote and Wolf sign, and even got a rare glance of a Bobcat. I can’t believe I scored a few pictures of him!

Yeah I think I’ve only seen maybe three of them in my whole life!
I saw the butt of one while riding in a side-by-side at night.
I also had a cougar sighting while going around a bend on a paved highway. It was running downhill, perpendicular to my travel. In one leap, it was on the middle of the road, and in another it was gone. With paws outstretched, the length to the tail was almost as wide as both lanes. I was close enough to see individual hairs ripple over muscle. What a sight!
