Step 3: Exert much effort chasing and cornering the rooster as many times as necessary.
Step 4: Resolve to make a better plan to catch the rooster tomorrow.

Well this worked nicely with much less stress and flapping.
The rooster was pretty chill too.
Yeah chickens have very poor night vision.
Even with a torch on they can't see shit.
Much more docile too.
