What's the trigger?

I used to drink frequently until the first time I went keto and was religious with it. I lost my cravings for all vices about a month or so in. When I went away from it, sugar cravings returned but the drinking never did. I think I've had one drink in the last year and it was last October.

there's some complex around coffee and alcohol, if i drink coffee, i crave alcohol to calm the jitters... pretty much the two have to go at the same time

and the caffeine - that's to get me working, so it's a loop from stress of work to wasting half my time not really there, and mouthing off at people
