hmmm nahc why? it is always a little scary if you send out a big meaningful amount. you don’t do it everyday. so I can relate
Yeah, the responsibility of being your own bank *should* come with at least a little apprehension to help ensure that you don't make a mistake *before* broadcasting a transaction... then, the confirmation from mempool that you didn't make a mistake is relieving.
This sounds like something that the people that thought it was a good idea to store 7 btc on an unsecured software wallet would have said

Or just first transaction and thus zero experience. This is exactly what everyone went through. I don't even remember a mempool though, just had to wait... Sometimes a bit longer than other times in the earlier days
