I’m sure I will get some eye rolls but around me safety deposit boxes are provided by banks not the government. The government needs a warrant to open them.

the government doesn't respect no stinking piece of paper these days. it's getting really out of control. probably you'll never have a problem but then if you do, well, it will suck.
these days most of the incursions are into our networks and devices, but if they get a bee in their bonnet the spooks will just "persuade" the banks to open up your safe.
A safe deposit box is probably what I’m thinking about. They’re private companies where I’m at but it’s still vulnerable to governments. I wonder what benefits (if any) a Bitcoin centric safe deposit location could provide.
