I couldn't agree more. Mass adoption is high time preference thinking based on the same fallacies that gave us hyperscale and hyperreality. I don't want more of that slop, I want a medium that promotes human freedom, agency, and purpose.

Mass adoption is attachment to outcome, dependent on others doing something. Just enjoying what is, will ever be independent of that.
