No. You can send from Primal to any Lightning-enabled wallet.

No. Any wallet with sufficent lightning liquidity should be able to receive from Primal.

It's best to get something non custodial.

If it’s a large amount, I believe Primal supports onchain payments

Is primal wallet going belly up too? I plan on having my own Alby node, that’s a good option as well because the Alby infrastructure seems solid.

If you're looking for an easy way to exchange the SATs you can send to nostr:nprofile1qqsvn0dkjt80raqrxd470c98n7zrdehmcvj6p5hgw3kyku6zyd8z0fqpzdmhxue69uhhqatjwpkx2urpvuhx2ue0t0hd0d or nostr:nprofile1qqsvwct7ssehccgu040egxe4k8k9ru4wd605r2kfv9sf94gsu8pftcqpr9mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuumwdae8gtnnda3kjctv9uqsuamnwvaz7tmwdaejumr0dshs8we63u. Or you can send to a more #selfcustody wallet. No. I sent sats from my Primal wallet to Exodus. Exodus is a self-custody wallet. It was easy.

it can be confusing.

you should be able to send to any bitcoin lightning wallet.

people will say non-custodial / self-hosted is better, but it's about a thousand times more complicated.

here is a list of options https://www.hedgewithcrypto.com/best-bitcoin-lightning-wallets/

Send to any Lightning Address. Cash App, Strike etc

and as others have said, Strike, Cash App, etc are options for normal people

Nope. I send Primal sats to @Coinos which is my hot wallet I use for spending (lightning transactions with other parties) and then you can also send on-chain funds (for hodl) from Coinos to cold (hardware) wallet.

I have Strike. Can I do it from the desktop/laptop or only from my phone?

Strike is just the app, no web option (anymore).

It's a bummer, I do everything (even text) on my web browser...
