My friend was a broke depressed immigrant kid. Caught up in the wrong.ideas, numbing with alcohol, drugs, casual sex. Worked at McDonalds. Low positive male role models. Shitty life.
Found Jesus. Few years layer, got a better job in his motherland then where his family emigrated from, which is NOT easy! Married a very very beautiful woman. Honestly, out of his league. 2 kids now...beautiful home. Almost the American dream 😃. Just in his motherland.
I saw this growth. We drank and partied together but later we prayed. We had deep theological convos.
Prayer, self love, the Bible. I am so proud of him.
Or maybe I should say, I am proud of what God did with him.
That is an amazing story. Mine is similar. Still working on the marrying someone out of my league and having two kids bit...Seems to be in progress 😂
