Yeah, my first conference was Pacific Bitcoin and I remember standing next to you and trying with all my might to just play it cool but before I knew it I was asking you for a picture, which you were gracious about. I actually thought a lot about that moment later because it was so uncharacteristic of me, and what I realized was that it was pure and unadulterated gratitude for the fact that you had changed my life. I am a high school teacher and we just wrapped up graduation and many students ask for a picture with me for the same reason, I think. It’s a gratitude and a teacher/student sort of love that there’s not really a word for. Just in your case you’re a teacher who doesn’t and can’t know all of her students, with students who can’t all know their teacher, though it sort of feels to them like they do.

And maybe the only other thing I’ll add is that I come from poverty, and “Trailer Park Lyn” resonates big time with those of us who will always hear the wolf at the door.
