People have no idea how badly we need nostr:npub10r8xl2njyepcw2zwv3a6dyufj4e4ajx86hz6v4ehu4gnpupxxp7stjt2p8

I spent the last 7 days in a never ending loop with Apple developer support. Can’t wait to finally invite the first batch to the StashPay TestFlight.

Very cool! If only Apple didn't have an app store monopoly.

We've been brainstorming how to approach iOS, and we have some ideas. Longer term

At least Apple is competing on bureaucracy 😁

Is it available on Graphene?

No more monopoly in Europe soon

It's amazing to me how many folks I see on Nostr who are also Bitcoin maxis that claim to be proponents for open and decentralized software and protocols but still use iPhone. Apple makes shitcoin equivalent software/hardware.

Aren't there third party stores for iOS now? Or is that just EU-only?

EU-only and Apple makes sure it’s not competitive even in EU.

Tell more

Using the ability of having an alternative marketplace in the EU (research confirms it's feasible), as well as a full fledged PWA store in the whole world that Apple can't touch.

How would a PWA store help with being able to install .ipa?

It would not, PWAs are web applications

The other option is going the AltStore or sideloadly route, but I'm not sure about UX

Release an APK file for Android. Join the rebellion against gated app stores 😈

I plan to after TestFlight. Just have to fire up my old Pixel 3A and do some testing on Android.

StashPay is so dead simple and fees are cheap. It’s already replaced Phoenix as my main spending wallet. Only problem is all zaps are now at least 1k sats 😅

That's a win for the people you zap 😛

I'll text you; maybe we can do something about that 1k sats limit

What piece is making the 1k limit?

Every interaction with the lightning network in the StashPay app is a submarine swap and the smallest swap we allow is 1k sats right now
