Nostr Web Client

I think its time for a replacement to Twitch to be made. One that focuses on the original energy of making livestreams cool, but decentralized without any one assclown or megacorp owning it. Same goes for video. I like LBRY but I'm tentative about the business model, and their inability to expand payment options leaves me skeptical.

I don't see a content model working long term if the user isn't paying the bill directly.

There a GitHub repo for it? Wasn't able to find it googling it. Mono hosting isn't what I'm looking for right now

i don't think decentralizing the storage of the videos has much to do with competing with twitch.

It has almost everything to do with it. What's the point of nostr then?

It's like kick.com; what's the difference between twitch and kick? Nothing except the owners.

the difference from either of those is that if you don't like nostr:npub1eaz6dwsnvwkha5sn5puwwyxjgy26uusundrm684lg3vw4ma5c2jsqarcgz , then you can use a different nostr service that offers the same thing and you still have all of your followers. the media hosting is the responsibility of the streamer. also, streamers receive 100% of the funds zapped by their viewers.

i don't know if nostr:npub1eaz6dwsnvwkha5sn5puwwyxjgy26uusundrm684lg3vw4ma5c2jsqarcgz has the ability to show a catalog of a streamer's past videos that aren't hosted on the site, but it's a feature that could be added i think.
