I already spend way too much time on Nostr with not enough engagement to match it… Why do I get addicted to things like this so easily?

Questioning now if it’s even worth attempting to build a following/online community or if I should continue to attempt being content in my isolation

People here are less likely to follow someone who post a lot bc there is no algorithm that could filter out low value posts.

Those are two different arguments: frequency versus value/signal.

I'm absolutely prolific, on some days, and I use the account for testing purposes, and people still eagerly follow. You just have to keep frequency balanced with value. So, if you want to post a lot, post things people want to look at.
