#asknostr Are you sure, that when you on only one relay, that may you can not be found from users that are not connected to this relay? I would assume this only means my notes are saved on this single relay and I loose all notes when the relay shuts down. But every #nostrich can find me still.

I don’t know hence the question.
But I will say I tried to input a company’s public key and their Nostr address into search (so I could find them and follow them)
They were on Nostr via parlay.net and they wouldn’t come up here…my assumption is not same node(s) 🤷♂️
I meant primal.net not parlay 🤦♂️
This is mindbuggeling for me. Would be great when a #nostrdev could clerify this question.
You guys are right - if I'm connected to relay a and you're connected to relay b we won't see eachothers notes, better to both be connected to a and b because then we can see each other's notes and if a or b go down we are still connected and our data still exists
That’s a little frustrating to say the least.
I know there is a relay directory but there are 100’s on there.
What are the top 10-20 I should be on to have the highest probability of connecting with others?
(The cool thing is in theory I could host a #business or #trading or #investing or #crypto only relay and isolate my audience and connections…but I’m totally against silos in #leadership )
