He’s at the top of the hierarchy it’s easy for him to say this

I think he’s admitting that he does this … ? But yeah I think it’s well known that hierarchical companies, organizations have this ā€œcontrolā€ aspect to them. And part of that is to make the ā€˜lower level’ people feel like there is something wrong with them, like they are not understanding something, like those higher-ups understand something important that you don’t. (Re: toxic ā€œprofessionalā€ cultures 🤢)

I think that’s correct and being an adult in general people play status and hierarchy games all the time. Like for instance if someone follows your or not on social media they look at your following account to size you up ask your job your income everything about being an adult is status and we must realize the ones at the top love being there and they only get their by having those on the bottom

Even in relationships a lot of us women can’t just wing it we are forced into submission
