Population decline is a natural consequence of deflation. As less and less people are needed, the value of kids decreases.
Natality follows market laws.
Wanna make a real difference in the world? Foster as many kids as you can.
Fostering is a net positive, you are taking a kid on bad trajectory and fixing their path, instead of just adding to the problem.
These blanket statements like "have as many children as you can" are pointless. Do you give this advice to your enemies as well? Should they have as many children as possible? Do we really need more sons in the Taliban? Should Unitard Authoritarians recreate more of themselves so they can ban gay marriage and force me to get vaccinated?
I think one should be very carful and confident that what they are reproducing is worthwhile before just banging out more mid wits.
More birth equals more midwits sure, but it also equals more geniuses and since geniuses push the world forward id like more of them.
Maybe, but maybe the elevation of living standard of poor people would reveal more geniuses that are simply untapped.
