For a while I've been building a comical hypothesis on barriers to success, the FLUCS rule. People can be Fat, Lazy, Ugly, Crazy, Stupid. Having any more than two of these traits usually inhibits success, with Lazy and Stupid being the strongest influences, while being good-looking (not Ugly) can negate almost everything except being Fat.

I'm Ugly and Crazy so I'm fucked 😂.

One of the best explanations of this absurdity was from Douglas Murray when he said words to the effect of what they are really saying is “I identify as LOOK AT ME!”

My work brings me into constant contact with thems. They are not all ugly or lack personality but the meme still stands. “They” brings the thems power.
