I had a great afternoon and evening with my youngest in Munich. He is studying there and has me as a guest for the long weekend. We had a delicious meal and a great conversation (we were so lost in conversation that I didn't even think to take a photo of the food 🫣)Why is that so special? My youngest isn't really someone who talks a lot. But despite his young age, he has an incredible amount of knowledge and unusual interests. Tonight we sat in a restaurant, just the two of us (usually his two siblings are there too), and talked. Sometimes light and cheerful, sometimes serious and thoughtful. It was wonderful. And tomorrow I get to meet Franny and Laesern again (I'm so excited, ladies) and many nostriches that I will see in real life for the first time.
