Hardware wallets are the biggest marketing move in Bitcoin history. You can keep 1 BTC in a hot wallet and nothing happens. Old Linux PCs are the best wallet devices you can have.

Buy couple of cheep usb sticks, install tails, setup wallet, clone the stick as many times as needed.

"hw" wallet for $5
