Just dug further and Twitter have reinstated it. The risks still remain
Doesn't change the fact that you have to trust someone with your online presence. For many people Twitter is huge part of their business and/or life. And you have single point-elon of failure.
I feel much more free when I am in complete control. But unfortunately it's not for everybody yet.

Knowing you can be banned and lose your livelihood (or some of it) at any moment makes you act a certain way to appease those that control it. Couple that with an algorithm that rewards certain actions, you’re essentially a slave to it.

Boy, oh boy... I really do have a feeling that we got into that period in human history when decades are happening every day. Can't wait how all this turns out.
