Never forget that state borders aren't legitimate, the real borders are defined by private property

"Woahhhh there I need to conflate the two to support gestapo tactics against peaceful immigrants!"

I mean, if every square inch were privately held with no state claiming territory, there would still be limits on immigration. I don't have much land, but I don't want just anyone on it, much less in my house. Probably no one would come without direct invitation from family or an employer, which would be better than the goofy restrictions in place now.

I mean sure, but in that context it's hard to understand what "immigration" means without a State. If the USA is just a "vibe" but not an actual nation-state anymore, how does one "immigrate" to it?

I mean... other than purchasing USA flag-based swimwear?

And even private property requires a state to define and defend ownership … unless it doesn’t. 👀

Private property can be defended without a state

The state makes itself essential.

It's a monopoly, it's normal to feel that way... that doesn't mean it's the best option or the only one

They aren't legitimate but they are very real. My friend Jakob almost died getting into New Zealand.

They are imposed by the monopoly of violence, they are real

Go on

oh you poor naïve soul...
