Had the same in our household. This was helpful for us:
-Half Liter of water
-pinch of salt
-fistful of sugar
The sugar and salt help speed up absorption in the body. We made ice cubes out of the sugar water and sucked on those instead of drinking it straight up. Less likely to throw it up that way.

I know so many people who have gone through this stomach bug. The amazing thing is they are not just from my town, but all over the country and even the world. I don't know what is going around, but something sure is. Luckily it seems to be one day sick to the stomach and one day feeling weak and under the weather. Then they seem to be over it.
my whole family got that at thanksgiving. exactly 12 hours of not keeping anything down. and then fine afterwards
