It’s hilarious and sad at the same time that people think these wildfires in Canada are from “global warming”
Wildfires have happened before Humans were around and will continue to happen regardless of the amount of carbon tax you charge citizens or how much you urge others to “do your part”.

Wild fires are part if Nature but not in these numbers and magnitude. Not only because many are man-made but also because ongoing droughts make the forest and lack of humidity prone to burn like tinder.
Call it as you wish every year we are breakung records

Strange that the climate has been changing millions of years before humans existed as well! Check out videos on ice core samples from Greenland going back millions of years showing that the climate is constantly changing. This “pristine world theory” that humans came around and ruined this perfectly stable environment is bologna and I urge you to start thinking for yourself
I happen to have studied paleobiology, still I am not preaching or delving in that. I have no political agenda or enjoy gloom, or need for others to think my way. All I can say is that concern is justified. Sadly so. Is it man made and too fast? Yes, off the charts.
Can it be weaponised political agendas? That is another thing, but denial though is usually not a good way to fix things. Are people entirely to blame we had like forever to opt for cleaner energy and you cannot bear all the responsability on people who need to drive home and heat their food. Also I am open to that.
By all mean question, reseach, investigate, collect data, publish data. And of course you are free to draw your own conclusion. And I respect it.

Forests in western Canada have not been allowed to burn, which has caused a massive buildup of dry fuel, which in turn makes the fires bigger and harder to control. Mismanagement of forests is the greatest cause of the increase in forest fires in Canada.
Pine beetle infestation is another big problem. They are able to burrow into trees that are older than 20 years old (softer bark) and then kill the tree from the jnside. When the weather is below -30 during the winter they are killed. Our winters are warmer, so some blame climate change.
However, if forest fires are allowed to burn many of the older trees will die and new trees will grow (pine cones need 230 f to open) and the pine beetle wouldn’t be able to burrow into their young bark.
If you walk through a forest that has burned a year or two afterwards, the amount.l of new growth is astounding and beautiful.
I do not question the situation in Canada because I do not live there, and generalizing is not usually a simple way to tag things, by all means let is all question things and blacks, ehites and greys. I want to add right where I live, and for the span of my life, I have seen my country undergoing desertification and lush green becoming scorched and beat a new high every single year. Sure forests need management, not implying every case is the same. But, no mind controled because I do my own research on abstracts (scientific papers (former biologist) and figures,no twitter, politics or press). So I do not point blame or preach others but I want to state noone has controled my mind to make my own opinion. And from there we can agree to disagree. I am refering to the reply.

I’m just pointing out that the world is changing and will always change. I don’t question your antidotal evidence but desertification has also happened before humans were around too. Not to say if we humans cut an entire forest down, that won’t have consequences on the local biome. I also want to agree that humans could have a small impact but I haven’t been convinced that this pristine environment was destroyed by humans. The earth has been in cycles of birth and rebirth for billions of years.

Imagine zooming in on a puddle you would assume the whole world was under water. Zoom out in time frame and you’ll see wildfires “in these numbers” have occurred before. Just because you’ve looked at the last 10,000 to 300,000 years doesn’t mean you have a clue what happened over billions of years
If canada doesn't tax people for being made out of carbon, how else can the Canadian government send millions and billions to random countries well native reserves don't have clean water or sometimes acess to a hospital without use of a helicopter
