And now I read that paper straws contain more potentially toxic 'forever chemicals' than plastic.

🧐

I like when restaurants use these thin disposable bamboo straws, because they don’t fall apart after 5 min in your drink and I’m guessing they won’t get stuck in turtle 🐒 noses?

They are not as smooth as plastic straws, they feel kind of like a cheaper plastic straw, but it’s not disturbing.

Jup. That's why I said they cause cancer.

Bamboo is better, I think metal is best in terms of chemicals, but many people don't like them because meh metal on teeth which I can understand.

Oh sorry yeah you did mention they cause cancer 🫣 I just jumped to post because I saw someone chatting on paper straws πŸ˜‚ and I hate them with a passion too πŸ˜… so just responded and was not connecting dots hehe.

I have metal and glass straws at home. I don’t mind using them (glass feels less strange on the teeth I’ll admit), but I hate cleaning them and having them stand straight on the kitchen counter for some time to dry πŸ₯΅
