Is there even a definition of "Canadian" any longer?

Pretty sure the nation is going through a transformative period (not unlike the rest of the world, but in Canada's context it's future label is not trending anywhere near the right direction) currently in development of whatever "culture" gets spit out the bottom of that dumpster fire.

The Canadians are technically, in an historical sense, doing exactly what they did to form the British Colony. Nothing.

Displaying a strange and absurd level of indifference and apathy to elements they don't understand- because Canadians are extremely insecure when forced to think or perceive. At least in my extensive experience.

As such, the take over is swift, efficient and almost doesn't cause a blip on the radar.

Meanwhile, infrastructure has collapsed in many dimensions of a "functioning" society. Extremely weak personalities, under reported prescription mood disorder drug-use and abuse, debt junkies.

Canadians love the idea of those little department store pillows that read; "Proud to Be Canadian". Almost like they need to fashion them in their living room as part of a mantra that keeps their opaque lenses on as they meander through their day completely and almost intolerably blind to what's going on outside that very same living room window.

The problem therein, is that Canadians have no fight. Always choose flight, and those same designer pillows, made by Roots ("proudly Canadian" and hence overpriced, but made in Chynuh) somehow distracts them with every glance from how empty and hollow they've become.

But the good news is: there is always another 90 minute CGI distraction coming out every Friday evening to distract them, at least for the weekend while they discuss the "artistic integrity" of that cartoon (lol), from the existential void which at this point, spans the width of most Canadians' existential void.

Curious what happens when the avalanche of truth smothers any and all avenues of distraction for the poor empty basins they call their citizenry.

They have lost touch with their nation's historical heroes and icons. And unfortunately go the route of every other British Colony- obedience as culture. Flight as a matter of survival, treading water as the current dictates where they end up.

Lack of skilled labour force, cognitively dissonant, zero industrial future and complete dependance in terms of investment capital and energy infrastructure.
