If you compare it with the ‘lemonade stand scene’ from Duck Soup by the Marx Brothers… Chaplin is overrated, the Marx Brothers are underrated.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q9OUIk4Oaq4
The Chaplin scene is a lot funnier imo, plus anyone saying Chaplin is overrated should be ignored.
Aha? Someone disagrees and should therefore be ignored. Which, of course, works best by not ignoring them. How one can fail to notice this while writing is beyond me. Well, Chaplin fans, I suppose. The Marx Brothers are really more for hermits and connoisseurs, Chaplin for fanboys and club members. And now please follow your own wise advice and hit the block button.
I didn't say you should be ignored for disagreeing, but because you said Chaplin is overrated which isn't true, it's just your opinion.
So then please do ignore me on account of my supposedly mistaken opinion about that somewhat comical Mr. Chaplin, for I would like to reaffirm it once more. That you cling to the contrary delusion is likewise only an opinion, and one that simply cannot and should not be argued about. Humor is no science.
The pretentiousness, ffs! 😂😂
