When you understand and use Bitcoin long enough, the legacy financial system starts to feel abusive. You start to realize how much you don’t own any of your financial assets. Hearing friends and family members bitch about their bad experiences making withdrawals at the banks just blows my mind. I’m not acting like I’m any better, I used to be part of that world. But once you start using fuck you money, it really changes everything. “What do you mean there is a limit on how much money I can withdraw? Why are you asking what I’m withdrawing the money for? It’s my fucking money I’ll transfer it wherever the fuck I want.”

But the truth is that it’s not your money. If someone else is holding or managing it for you, then it’s not your money. You just have an IOU. A conditional one at that. Ask the truckers that were protesting in Canada. Say the wrong thing or hold the wrong view and your money can be frozen. How are you going to pay your bills or feed your family then? Why would anyone go back to that world after they try bitcoin? They won’t. The old financial system is going to die and I can’t wait.

Called the bank to do a wire transfer today, I do it about once a month and since btc it pisses me off every time

It’s so crazy how bad the old system is but no one complained much about it because it was the only option before Bitcoin

Totally agree! Once you see how freeing Bitcoin is, you can't go back. It’s wild to think about how much control we give up in the old system. Here’s to true financial freedom! 🚀💸

This is so true! I remember a year ago going to the bank to increase my withdrawal limit so I could continue to buy more Bitcoin. I was asked why there were so many withdrawals and what I was buying… I just replied with “toys.” Many people can’t afford to keep their toys such as snowmobiles, side by sides, quads, boats, etc so I figured it was a believable story. I was disgusted feeling as though I needed a reason and explanation as to why I was withdrawing MY money!

It’s pretty ridiculous but it really isn’t your money. The fine print is clear about that. I think future generations that will grow up on a bitcoin standard won’t believe what we went through.

I also remember worrying about having my account frozen when supporting the truckers. There was even a list of local businesses and possibly names of people who donated. What kind of world is this?! Not a free one. But Bitcoin fixes this!

Non kyc Bitcoin fixes this 😉

YES!! non-kyc Bitcoin for the win! I went hard on accumulating as much as possible when it was really easy to do so especially when the overall price was much lower but that doesn’t stop me from stacking these days too!
