I think this may be an unpopular opinion on here and I'm certainly not saying this to criticize you in this moment, but how is it that the word "retarded" has come back into fashion and is suddenly ok to use?

I lump it in with words like midget and faggot...just not right..

I'm not in the woke crowd by any sense, but I really feel that it is wrong and unfair to use these words.

I swear and have a dirty mouth, but I don't like using hurtful words. These types of words just seem hurtful to me.

Am I missing something?

I feel safe asking you this and I hope it doesn't come as an attack. I ask from a place of love.

To me it's more about the afiixitions individuals put on them for themselves. But I'm probably a bigot so 🤷

Eventually all words will be bad depending on implications I suppose. I dunno. I'm legitimately not all together so. Maybe me not using them in hate for me means hateful for someone else. It's all about perceptions in a lot of ways.

Though, I do not disagree with you. I should better myself.
