Wonder if I could live on one of these. I believe they are significantly cheaper than canal boats. (But need loads of work obviously).

i also think they'll be freezing in winter and roasting in summer, unless you really insulated. No idea what fibreglass is like for temperature / insulation tho, compared to metal canal boats

For summer, fans will be your friend, if not air conditioning. With the right furnace, winter should be fine, unless you're dealing with being in frozen water.
