All new for me. I figure the worst that can happen is that I'll show up at a repair shop weeping 😅 I have plenty of time to finish up my crafts now, but I hope the screen ships fast.

You're good with your hands so I don't expect you'll have too much trouble. Slow and steady with a good electronics screwdriver set, something flat to pry parts open, and a hair dryer ought to do it.
Take pictures as you take things apart as a memory aid when reassembling it. You'll do fine 😁
