"Keeley Sweeney from Barnsley, and her partner, Lisa, were in Ingoldmells, Lincolnshire, celebrating Lisa's birthday when their night out ended in bloody violence when Keeley was knocked out cold."

"Keeley said the men had been shouting 'sexual comments' in the bar and had then followed them as they made their way along Sea Lane where there were more sexual comments and homophobic remarks about them being 'dirty lesbians'.

The men turned nasty when they were told to go away, said Keeley.

"There was an argument in the street and a man started raising his fists to my partner. That got my back up. One of the blokes was walking behind everybody. I turned around and kicked my leg out. He attacked me and knocked me out cold."
