Signal suffered for years without funding; it was pretty rough

When the public wakes up and sees value, things change. The good part about Nostr is that its possible to raise just through the network itself, if the public wants it and the execution is good, the traditional route can be bypassed.

I think this is what makes Nostr vs tradfi funding different. With AI, its going to be harder to identify what is real talent vs what is vibe coded.

Long term crowd sourcing, where the market decides what is performant vs crap is a more bitcoin-like viable model and is the point of sail we've been taking.
