I currently store value in Bitcoin and am happy to use it in direct transactions. But yea, when I can not pay in Bitcoin I totally exchange to whatever is needed to buy what I need.
Im not criticizing that, i also do it, im not a purist, but the ''bitinfluencers'' say that they want to separate money from state, and their actions tell otherwise.

Ok great. I do not see any purpose in buildung such a wall neighter. In the end we all profit from good interfaces between different forms of value. And in the long run, the market will decide which currencies take part in direct transactions and which do not.
Here and there might some tyrants can influence this short term. Longterm efficiency wins by force anyway.
Therefore I really do not see value in people trying to convince others that this or that will happen. When Bitcoin gets a medium of exchange it will be it. When it won‘t it wont. But it hardly depends on our personal oppinions... 😂
