If Satoshi had released this whitepaper, would anyone have adopted the technology? Worked on it? Saved in it? Educated about it? Spread awareness about it? Written books about it?

Can you imagine “The DickButt Standard”?

No.

So to anyone who says “bItCoIn iS a DaTAbAsE!” - no it is fucking not. A database is part of what makes Bitcoin what it is - money; a dickbutt storage system was never going to be a $2T asset and be adopted as legal tender or be anything other than a joke.

Only the retards who want to disrupt Bitcoin and enrich themselves with scams on an immutable system make these claims and they shouldn’t be merely dismissed, but ridiculed and trolled and reputationally destroyed by everyone who makes up the network and is negatively impacted by their retardation.

Saying bitcoin it's just a database is like saying you could and should hike the Everest with a bike, a wheelchair, a bus or a submarine.. they all are transport methods. 😅😂

There’s hundreds of databases out there too, all used for different things. The idea that Bitcoin is just another one of these generic things is retarded, none of them have the properties of Bitcoin and no-one would answer the question “what is the best method to store digital images?” with “Bitcoin”.

They all know this and the disingenuousness of saying otherwise is why they deserve derision and scorn rather than mere mockery - they know what they’re doing.

I do ask myself if this disingenuous behaviour is real, or masking different type of incentives. In the end it's always about that.. disincentivesing or neglecting usage of bitcoin as money and or medium of exchange is a tactic made by more parties.. like the Saylor ones, and or retarded Wizards or whoever will come next saying something different about this peer2peer protocol.

There’s a mix of people trying to obfuscate their own self-interest - ie Lopp. That is its own problem.

And there’s disingenuous retards like Shinobi who know full well that what they’re saying is complete bullshit, it’s not just their “lens”, they are trying to twist things to suit their frame and they are lying to try to get what they want.

Shinobi isn’t the only one but he’s put himself out at the forefront of that particular talking point.

I see them as distinct from the Saylor’s who don’t want MoE and the self-interested.

1) The self-interested want to change Bitcoin to suit them to create “businesses”.

2) The disingenuous retards want to scam people with JPEGs.

3) And Saylor’s camp are spooks who want Bitcoin to be inside the State.
