This is on par with saying don't go full cash because it is only associated with criminal activity. Ridiculous. There is nothing that makes cash or Monero exclusively "criminal"

Zcash is far more private yet receives less scrutiny because there's more plausible deniability on why you would be using it to begin with.
A few white market brandings that have nothing to do with darknet adoption (not that anything is necessarily wrong with that)
Zcash *shielded transactions* are more private. Normal Zcash use is as transparent as Bitcoin and that is the vast majority of use last time I checked. Which may also be why there is less scrutiny. Because it is mostly seen as a transparent chain in practice.
