This dude seems confused about the core concept of protocols vs platforms. Sure we use "nostr" in conversation and this may contribute to the confusion but its a base layer with numerous apps cough clients built on its foundation.

They laugh till they need it. Example: If chat control and ID verification to use social media is coming in the EU, byebye Social Media. Then Nostr is the only way.
the cool thing is, he might end up using nostr without being aware of it. not as a social media equivalent, but maybe through a reputation graph built on nostr or an ai query, or something similar that the protocol enables beyond twitter clones.
