Huge news out of the Middle East! The Assad dictatorship has fallen, ending more than 50 years of brutal oppression and human rights violations. Rebels swept across the country in a surprise offensive, and captured Damascus early Sunday morning (local time). The Syrian tyrant, Bashar al Assad, fled the capital, flying to an undisclosed location as the rebels took over the war-torn nation. It'll exciting to see what happens next!

The same exact thing whenever a power vacuum happens Extreme Islamic takeover, Destabilization, and now no safe refuge for Christians in The Arabic World.
Assad might have been bad but Isis, Al Qaeda, and all the other groups who will fill the void will be 2x worse.
I suspect the Syrian people will ultimately be better off. I'm not predicting sunshine and rainbows, but perhaps more freedom, and less killing of civilians.
