It should cost 1 or 2 Satoshi to follow npubs, then I would take the followers list more serious.
Why would people pay to follow someone.. 🧐
to stop spam and bots. Bots adding you without a requiring anything fills npubs with fake followers. By requiring a Satoshi or two it start to make it too expensive for bots to mass follow npubs
Also, people including myself wouldn't want to pay 1-2 satoshis to follow people, but that's just my two sats ✌️
because you're freeloader. The fiat internet is filled with your type of people who are selfish and what everything free and aren't willing to help support the hard working developers who are bringing us freedom.
Luckily, Bitcoin will be changing that mentality and you will be left out alone with the bots and spammers unless you change your boomer mindset.
