What is the latest and greatest on nostr-based reviews?

I've seen a few NIPs over the last year or so, but nothing concrete yet.

For nostr:nprofile1qqsra2ey033mkdwl5w8q0jss9ak69zafh82xsuvhwsaauw3trkq2amgpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qgcwaehxw309anxjmr5v4ezumn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tck28qzu obv. We're currently generating some ad-hoc reviews when users verify locations via the web form.

I'd say it's probably this:

https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/pull/879

This is an actual review NIP, and it can be used to implement QTS, which is an improvement on the standard 5 star rating system I proposed.

I heard nostr:npub16dhgpql60vmd4mnydjut87vla23a38j689jssaqlqqlzrtqtd0kqex0nkq was going to use QTS for nostr:npub15dc33fyg3cpd9r58vlqge2hh8dy6hkkrjxkhluv2xpyfreqkmsesesyv6e and Satlantis is using it for place reviews.

Can QTS have a mixture of positive and negative labels?

I did not envision negative labels as being useful, no. The thumbs down pretty much takes care of it. Nobody wants to know how bad something is. They just want to know how good it is.

I guess negative labels are handled as zero weights against the 50% available as nostr:nprofile1qyt8wumn8ghj76rpwejkutnrv9k8vcfwv3jhvtcprdmhxue69uhksctkv4hzucmpd3mxztnyv4mz76twvfhhsqgwwaehxw309ahx7uewd3hkctcpz9mhxue69uhkummnw3ezuamfdejj7qg4waehxw309amk7mnn9e3kzmrkvyhxgetk9uqzp5mwszpl57ekmthxgm9ck0uel64rmz095wt9pp6p7qp7yxkqk6lvctjurf comments here:

If you're broadly positive (i.e. an initial thumbs-up 50%) then you don't want to be dragged below 50%. Similarly for positive labels on a general thumbs-down.

Me likey.

QTS reviews are already implemented in nostr:nprofile1qqs2xugc5jyguqkj36rk0syv4tmnkjdtmtperttl7x9rqjy3ustdcvcppemhxue69uhkummn9ekx7mp0qy2hwumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnyv9kh2uewd9hj7qg6waehxw309aek2mnyd96zumn0wdnxcctjv5hxxmmd9uxa0uz8 based on NIP-85! I left a comment on that PR that's linked on how I'm implementing them.

ah nice find. Yeah, QTS is just a way of implementing reviews, so it could be used in any system that allows key + value pairs.
