and then people worked on lightning to make it good enough for now
because without those foundations nostr wouldn't have a chance
Agree. I think zaps will be the only reason nostr survives

Feeling nostr outlives zaps…
We’ll see. Personally I think zaps are the entire reasons this thing will keep going. People at broader levels don’t give a damn about decentralization, privacy, or any of the things we care about.
