I have a wolf because I like being part of a pack. Working together towards a common goal. I can lead, but if there is someone better, I can follow.

The male lions job is to keep the pride together and fight off any competition, the females hunt and provide the food and cubs! Life is very very tough for male lions in the wild!

I actually thought you did, yeah they only ever have one partner for their life and the leader of the pack always is leading from the rear so the older and weaker ones do not get ambushed and fall away. He keeps them going and pushing on, they are incredibly amazing and loving animals!
I didn’t know about the mating with one partner, but I did know that the dominant ones will take care of the older and weaker members of the pack. Taking care of our elders is most important, along with protecting and teaching our young.
