[How to Make Chewing Tobacco]

One month ago I harvested and hung the tobacco to dry. Today I processed it into some #Chewingtobacco

I can't wait to give this stuff a try. The junk from the store just doesn't compare to the taste quality and it's outrageous in price.

-Prep the Harvest-

1. Wash leaves with water dunk

2. Pat dry and destem

3. Cut to desired size

How long does it need to sit before its ready?

Also, I just this very moment figured out why it always made me think of raisins.

Thats it?? Whats the dry time get to 70%? Do you cure it like weed? Ive never grown tobacco but it seems like silly good fun for a rare treat.

That's it..

To dry, I copied the ways of the old days, hung in the shop rafters until the leaves were brittle. The rehydration process occurs when you wash the leaves. That's when they get playable again.
