Kennedy doesn't even need a majority vote.

If no candidate ends up with 271 delegates, then it goes to Congress to decide the outcome of the election.

Congress is split right down the middle and the chasm between the two parties has never been wider. Neither side will budge to support the other side's candidate. They will be deadlocked.

The only possible bipartisan compromise will be to elect Kennedy.
