What I’m saying is let’s say apple does remove Damus from App Store doesn’t remove it from our iPhones, we can still use zaps and everything will be cool, and maybe the distribution of future builds doesn’t happen on the App Store instead on the website or inside the app itself

Convenience really matters. We could also be pen pals and write checks to each and send them via the post office. πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Wym.. what’s so inconvenient about clicking an update button on a website ? or having it send you an email with the update ? Or even easier having it update from within the app itself ?? seems pretty convenient to me man, idk I ain’t lazy like that

how will new users use damus?

There’s this thing called side loading apps basically can download straight from Damus website https://www.lifewire.com/get-apps-not-in-app-store-1999916#:~:text=your%20iOS%20device.-,Sideloading%20Apps,do%20things%2C%20but%20it's%20possible.

I understand this but , the real question is why? like why do we need to go through all of this? A simpler & easy solution should be available for all. Freedom.

What’s the solution ?

To make apple agree to use this as it is. not even proposing a fight , but it’s just a tips i mean how fucking hard that can be for people in power. ugh!
