If Bitcoin is to be adopted by your average local shop there needs to be a way to easily convert to fiat that doesn’t eat away 4% or so of the value.
Does anyone know of a good service to get that job done? Preferably available everywhere, not just the US (i.e. Strike).
Why would you want to convert scarce Bitcoin into worthless Dollars?
Probably because you can’t actually buy anything with bitcoin.
That's the problem that needs solving.
There are prepaid debit cards that solve that problem, at least where I’m from. I’m more concerned about the conversion rate TBH. The best place I know charges 4% which is unacceptable for everyday usage (still better than some payment platforms though). We need to approach the rates of the foreign exchange market for this to work.
Businesses has to deal with dollar or any local fiat shitcoin, they need a way to convert it to fiat because taxes and etc (I don’t actually know). We don’t live in a Bitcoin standard now, so adoption has to start slowly, hence being able to convert back and forth without much hassle.
