Valid point, but Bitcoin is for everyone despite what we might think.
Discussion
Ofc. That's not my concern. My skepticism stems from pushing for State capture.
I totally agree, but, if Bitcoin is as antifragile as we believe it to be…
1) it shouldn’t matter
2) wouldn’t we want our homeland leading
I used to think that as well, and don’t get me wrong - I don’t WANT state capture. I do think though it is inevitable AND simultaneously believe the protocol can withstand human fallibility in any form.
Antifragility is a time function. Mistales can take some time to rectify once made, ever for an antifragile system.
Well said.
State capture == failure.

Yes, but we can win a major battle in the arms race and gain a new territory of freedom for several years.
Governments are good at cutting off the heads of a centrally controlled networks like Napster, but pure P2P networks like Gnutella and Tor seem to be holding their own."

I2P, Yggdrasil, Reticulum, GnuNet
Take a look at them all
I wouldn't want our Homeland leading
Give all the bitcoins to the people of Gaza imo
Also, there's an important difference between your homeland and the state. Why would you welcome a thief into your home?
