As a U.S. citizen, it is my opinion that it would be in our best interest to print fiat in order to buy #Bitcoin for a #strategic #reserve (and/or just not sell the #BTC it has already seized - which is ultimately the same thing in terms of opportunity cost).

I strongly suspect this is a minority opinion among the citizenry as a whole. However, we elect leaders to make such decisions on our behalf rather than rely on a direct democracy.

This cuts both ways, of course, as our leadership could very well decide to create a #shitcoin reserve instead - a move I believe would not be in our best interest.

As such, I'm just not going to bother worrying too much about the things over which I have very little control.
