I started off with the Percy Jackson series, then Stephen Fry's series (Mythos, Hereos, Troy, Odyssey), then Penguin Classics of the Iliad, Odyssey and Aeneid, and finally followed up with Elizabether Vandiver's lectures on the Iliad, Odyssey and Aeneid. I love how these themes are still alive around us in playing view but I think very few know other their origins.
